Located along the border of the West Town and Logan Square, this bridge carries the 606 Trail across North Winnebago Avenue near W. Bloomington Avenue.
Built in 1914, this bridge consists of four through girder spans, on steel piers and concrete abutments. Originally built for two tracks, the bridge now carries two directions of pedestrian traffic.
During 2014, the bridge was repaired and rehabilitated. In addition, the bridge received a new coat of paint.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition, with minor deterioration on the substructures.
The author has ranked the bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
